Following several successful surgeries at Mbarara Regional referral Hospital, the nine-year-old boy, Samuel Akamumpa, from Rweibare Village in Kasheshero Sub-county, Mitooma District, has publicly thanked the medical team at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH) after surgeons saved his life by removing around 50 sewing needles and broken pen fragments from his stomach. A team of seven pediatric surgeons performed a complex operation, using magnets to extract the needles some still attached to threads along with pen fragments #gntv #news
